2013 - TM Friends "Matching Funds" Scholarship Program Initiated
The Gilbert Slomowitz Foundation played a prominent role in the 2013 Annual Fund Raising program for the Maharishi Foundation USA, the national organization through which TM is taught in the USA. The GSF offered matching funds to the first 80 TM Centers to achieve $1,000 in donation pledges. As a result of the GSF offer, TM Centers around the country were inspired to raise $120,000 in scholarship program funds, providing support for 240 scholarship applicants.
